Don’t Cry for me Too Long

I know you’re hurting and want me to stay.

My master called me home I had to leave right away.

Don’t cry for me too long and dry your tears.

So far everything is awesome up here.

I’ve got my seat at the welcome table.

Just like He said in His word God is able.

God has healed me and conquered my fears.

He promised me a brand new home

And that He will cover you while I’m gone.

Earth is not my home it’s just a stop by place.

Now I get to my Jesus face to face.

Everything up here is brand new.

I’ve seen momma and daddy, my sister and brother too.

They are at peace as well but they miss Y’all too.

Don’t grieve me too long I’m alright.

I got my wings and I’m ready to take flight.

I’ve made it Glory and I’ve got my prize.
