When you can’t find the words to pray use Gospel songs:
Jesus, oh Jesus how we love to call your name.
There’s a storm out on the ocean, we ask Lord that you that you say peace be still.
When the storms of life are raging stand by us and be a bridge over troubled water.
Oh, precious Lord, we can’t even walk without you holding our hand.
Jesus be a fence all around us tonight as the angels keep watching over us.
We know we can’t hide and we gotta run for you.
We know it was your grace and mercy that brought us through and we can’t turn around because we’ve come this far by faith.
So while we wait to answer to our name help us to send up our timber every day.
When our way gets dark, we ask you let the light from the lighthouse shine on us and keep us in your pathway Lord.
When trouble is in our way, we know you’ll fix it after while.
Keep our souls anchored in you oh Lord, because you are the light that shineth in us. Show up in us and lift us higher.
Help our little lights shine as we are walking up the Kings highway.
When we cross that river we don’t want no trouble. Lord we just want to cross on over.
We will give your name the total praise you deserve. Let the church say Amen.
