The Wait

The Lord isn’t slow to keep his promise, as some think of slowness, but he is patient toward you, not wanting anyone to perish but all to change their hearts and lives.-

There’s a saying “Good things come to those who wait.”

No one tells you how hard it is.

The seconds, minutes, hours, and days tick by and you are still waiting.

We spend a huge chunk of our lives waiting.

You know what you want and you want it to come right this moment.

It’s like you can see your prayer is coming into fruition.

You plant the seed of faith.

You watered it and nurtured it,

Now you just have to sit there and wait.

Waiting is hard.

Waiting sucks.

Some things are just worth waiting for.

God is working behind the scenes to place the right people in your path.

He is laying the foundation for that dream job, that ultimate relationship, that answer to the ultimate question that is piercing your soul, and that that thing you were longing for so long.

You have to just and wait.

And waiting sucks big time.

However, when you see why you had to wait, It didn’t seem that long anymore. That year seemed like a day. Those days seem like a few hours.

So endure the wait…

Cherish the wait…

Embrace the wait…

It is worth it.
