What a Year

So 2018 is coming to a close. We have almost completed another full rotation around our star. We are older, wiser, and gained another year of knowledge. I can truly say that this year has been a year of ups and downs.

I lost family members including my uncle. I been to new places and seen new things. I’ve met some people that have truly blessed my life. I’ve been sick a few times but I’ve managed to bounce back. I started this blog and gained 60 plus new followers. To top the year off I’ve totaled the first car I bought 12 days before Christmas.

Despite all of the ups downs. There has been one constant in my life. God has seen me through it all. Yes, I’ve cried tears and suffered loss but I still give God glory. If you could see my car, you would wonder how I made it out without a scratch. It was all God. I give Him glory for bringing me this far on my journey.

On this writing journey God has been my muse. My words all come from Him. Every life experience that I turned into a devotional or a poem, is because I learned something from Him. In every lesson, I’ve learned to trust more in God and to show His love with others. I hope I was able to show that in my writings.

I want to personally thank all of you for taking the time to read my words and I hope that they have touched your hearts. I’m a humble servant and I have little writing experience.  Seeing that I’ve touched your lives this year has touched my soul and I’m inspired to share more. I welcome your feedback. I hope that 2019 will be a year of change and growth for you all. Happy New Year!

Stephon
