Amazing Love

It’s such an amazing love that you have for us.

You made plans for us before we took our first breath.

You knew before hand that we would be a handful.

You knew that we would walk away and try to do our own thing.

Yet you welcome us back with open arms every time.

You knew we would fall flat on our faces and you were there to pick us up.

It’s such an amazing love.

You knew that nothing could atone for our sin.

So you sent a part of your being to be the lamb for all of us.

Because of Your Grace we are welcomed back home as part of your divine family.

There is no love in the universe greater than that.
