Our senses are bombarded from the time we wake up until we lay down at night.

It makes us angry and tense.

It separates us from the voice of God.

We need some quiet time and space where we can hide from everything.

It gives us time to recharge.

We need to be still so we can hear God’s voice and commune with Him.

Even in the times of Jesus there were distractions that disturbed His quiet time.

He had so steal away to the mountains to find His peace.

If it was good enough for Jesus, then it’s definitely good enough for us.
