The Triumphant Return

There I was minding my own business.

Drinking water from a trough.

Then these two guys come up and inquired about me.

What would they want me a donkey colt?

Who is this master that is in need of me?

I guess I’m about to see for myself.

He just looks like a regular guy.

Let’s get this over with I hit some hay with my name on it.

Wow! Look at the crowd!

They are going nuts!

They are throwing palm branches and cloaks in the road.

They are shouting “Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”

So He is a king!

Oh He’s Jesus!

The Son of Man!

I’ve heard of him.

Out all of horses in the barn, He chose me.

I helped usher in a King on His triumphant journey home.

Look at how they love Him.

Jesus is really loved by His people.

I wish Him well.

According to the prophets, he has a heavy burden to carry.

Well my job is done.

Where is that hay? I’m famished.
