What have they done to my son?
Why would want to hurt my boy?
It pains me so much to see him this way.
I know this is what was asked of him but Lord spare my child!
My brother…my teacher…. my friend.
Why must you suffer so?
Why must you endure so much for us?
This is not what we imagined for you. It’s painful to see you this way but the prophecy must be fulfilled.
Woman, here is your son.

A son that I am so proud of.
Even in your agony you still are taking care of me.
John is a good man.
I will love him as much as love you and James.

Like Mary and John, we too have been adopted into a new family when Jesus died on the cross.
We now have a family because of the love shown my him on the cross.
