Imagine seeing him holding on to life
Struggling to hold all of his weight while in pain on the cross
He spent all night in kangaroo courts
He was beaten within an inch of his life
Then the forced him to carry the cross up a hill
He hung there for hours in agony
He was God in human form
He could have come down but his love kept him on the cross
In a final request to fill a human need and to fulfill the words of the prophecy
He cries out “I am thirsty”
This is some kind of love
A love that we will never see manifested like this again
We too are thirsty but sometimes for the wrong things
However if we seek the living water, the endless fountain of Gods Grace
We will never be thirsty again
