In the middle

The events of Calvary has passed.

The crowd has returned home.

Jesus is lying still in the tomb.

We are left feeling numb.

What are we to do?

How can we move on?

We are stuck in the middle.

Do we flee?

Do we stay?

He said He will rise again but did mean in s few days or in the day of judgment?

We are stuck in the middle.

Today is dark and cold.

We saw our hope die on the cross.

Will we ever get over the grief of losing someone so great?

He had the power and opportunity to come down but he chose to stay.

Now we mourn and we wait.

We will we shout in victory or will our fears be confirmed…that He’s not coming back.

Now we pray and wait in the middle.

Tomorrow can’t come soon enough.
