We pray “Your will be done.
But do we know what that means?
Are we truly willing to give up control?
Do we truly understand that we aren’t in control anyway?
God’s will can be a tough pill to swallow.
It requires us to give up what we don’t want to.
It may take us places we don’t particularly like to go.
It may not always be roses and sunshine.
God’s will may give us answers that we aren’t ready to face.
But we have to face the facts God’s will is what is best for us.
No matter how we try to get around it or shy away from it we still have to answer to His will.
This life is just a pit stop on our way home.
While we’re navigating the road it’s best we are protected by the will of God.
