In The Darkness

I got to say God, it’s looking real dark right now.

My debts are outweighing my resources.

It feels like I’m running on empty.

It’s like I can barely can keep my head above water.

Yet in this darkness I trust you.

It seems like illness and I are best buddies.

The more I want to do things, the more I’m forced to sit things out.

The sweet sounds that I love to hear and enjoy are now fading.

Yet in this darkness I trust you.

You have been there for me in the midst of it all.

So no matter how long this storm will last, I trust you .

No matter how dark the clouds may seem, I will not loose my faith.

In this tough time in the darkness I will trust you.
