The Best Medicine

There will be days when you won’t feel like smiling.

Sometimes you just want to be left alone.

You just want a few hours just to get yourself back on track.

Maybe you’re just tired.

All of that is fine.

We all have those times where we just need some me time.

No commitments…

No meetings…

No being fake…

No small talk…

No family…

No smart phone…

It’s just your favorite blanket, the couch, at Netflix.

It’s your favorite chair, with the right lamp, and a good book.

It’s sitting on the bank of your favorite fishing spot with a line in the water.

It’s just you and God having a talk about life.

Sometimes that’s the best medicine anyone can ask for.
