Warriors

We send them off to train as children then they return as strong men and women.

They risk their own safety for the safety of millions of people that they will never know.

They are trained to be tough as nails and hard than steel.

Once they see what have seen and heard what they have heard, they can’t help but to be different.

Some lost their battle buddies.

Some have up their limbs.

Some come home with fractured minds and wounded souls.

These men and women are warriors and should be treated as such.

Yet all they return to is red tape and paper work.

They left a world full of order and uniformity and they now placed in a world full chaos and uncertainties.

They return filled with anxiety and PTSD.

Some don’t have home go return to.

God forgive us for not doing all we can to treat our men and women with the respect they deserve.

They gave up their freedom so we can keep ours.

To the warriors of the Army, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard, you are valued, your service is greatly appreciated and you are loved.

You are our heroes.

You are our warriors.
