Take

Take take take.

That’s all this virus has done is take.

It has taken our attention.

It has taken some of our retirement.

It has taken jobs.

It has taken family members.

It has taken some of our freedoms.

It has taken our normalcy.

It has taken our time.

Yet there are somethings that COVID-19 hasn’t taken:

Our joy

Our hope

Our peace

Our faith

Our mind

Our grit

Our determination

Our will

So no matter how much this tiny ball of RNA and proteins will not defeat us.

We will fight.

We will pray.

We will innovate.

We will win.
